1. Our fearless leader and hero took 1st place in his age group at the Dogwood Festival 10k winning a sprint to the finish line. In gracious fashion, the champion turned and shook the hand of the second place runner who actually lead our leader for a majority of the contest. In other news, MattHarmer-triathlete.blogspot.com, lost in unconvincing fashion to our hero.
2. The Special One - my son - received a rather close haircut that makes his otherwise large head appear even larger.
That is all - be champions

That's interesting how you went into the future to win the Dogwood Festival 10K.
Our Hero was so busy winning, he forgot to see which race he was winning. It is a fault of champions - to busy accepting trophies to remember silly details like "Which race am I winning?"
Last night, I was doing some research whilst spinning. In an attempt to scientifically categorize Topher, I was reading the book "Egotism and Me", by Harry Izesosmart. Previously, with "Our Hero's" flawless tract record of race wins, hair, and sweaters, I was inclined to believe that Topher registered at Izesosmart's ranking of D-CB or Deity-Class B. However, upon reading Chris J's observation of Our Hero's great time-bending skills, I now have Topher's lack of editing prowess/lack of attention to detail glaring mercilessly at me. It's apparent to me that he can't be expected to win every thing he sets out to do and edit, both at the same time. This minute flaw lands Our Hero at Izesosmart's ranking of M-M or Mega Mortal. There...that explains everything Chris J. - Topher only becomes Clark Kent when he sits down to blog. As the poet once wrote..."Oh, editing, thou art my Kryptonite"
