The blog grows lonely.........

Amidst the windswept tundra of the Arctic internet, The Blog of C-Topher had grown frail - pummeled by the pangs of hunger and the unrelenting onslaught of mother nature. How it longed for the days when ChrisTopher would grace his pages daily with his mix of mirth, wisdom, and sheer genius. But then a dark cloud began to form on the horizon - ChrisTopher purchased a Nintendo Wii; bought Mario Kart and forgot about his cherished blog. Like a faithful dog, the poor blog withered away as it starved on the vine. Then one day, while traveling, the mighty Blogster ChrisTopher remembered his faithful space and whimsically drifted on by to see how it was keeping up. Once upon it, memories flooded the great hero's mind as he recalled his Spartanesque conquests of wit and genius. The blood began to flow again in the mighty warrior and he resolved to continue to wage war against the impudence of boredom and stupidity. Onlookers, beware - I do not come in peace........

Early on a Saturday..........

So my days begin earlier than most other folks...... see, in order to remain in peak physical and mental condition, I like to burn off my excess calories as opposed to storing them and that is best accomplished early in the A.M.  So, this morning, like most other mornings, I was up earlier than the rest of the population and headed out towards Eastover on my fine riding instrument.  On the way back into Fayetteville, it shocked me the number of cars that were out and speeding on their way to..... somewhere...... I mean, is a ham biscuit THAT important that you would risk taking out a cyclist?? I often wonder how enslaved to their stomachs people must be in order to drive like a fool to Hardee's to "beat the morning rush."  Or maybe they were late to a legitimate appt..... well, if you left with JUST enough time to spare, then perhaps you are among the millions who might consider getting up with me.   Reply with your phone numbers and I will see to it that you receive a wake up call when I am up.  Be champions 

Week 1 done - 1 more to go

Wk 1 of vacation hath ended and one more to go. A nice base tan has begun - the only vestiges of my Mexican heritage (the ability to tan). Hilary has dropped from the race and we all know what that means - the chance to criticize without anything to lose. Love it! Love it! I cast a vote for ole Hilldawg in the primary election (registered Republican - voted Democrat), so I felt the withdrawal more poignantly than the rest of you. How will we ever change, now?? Our only hope is a junior senator and senior senator. I am thinking of running a write-in candidacy...... i know..... you would vote for me

The vacation days
