How do you have more than one wife?? Mormonism was revealed to the "prophet" Joseph Smith by the angel Moroni - wouldn't "Morons" have been a more appropriate title for this religion?
P.S. - Joseph Smith had "revelations from God" that he should take other wives. Only problem is, that God forgot to tell him to tell his wife.......

Chicks beating up other chicks.......

Our Hero is befuddled by all this hullabaloo over the video of the chicks beating up that one poor, unfortunate soul.  The way I see it, if the news media didn't give hours upon hours of coverage to stupid children behaving like animals (school shootings, beatings, etc.), they would remove the impetus to get "famous" or have their video on the "YouTube."  

On the matter of the girls, the beaters should be prosecuted and the girl who got beat should learn not to post nasty stuff about other people on the internet.  However, the Great One has questions as to where the parents were in all of this??  Someone wasn't in touch with their teenager....... Maybe if Mom and Dad paid attention more, kids wouldn't act out so much looking for acceptance and love.  Thoughts??  

Watch - I will get a response to THIS one while you leave my postings on oil and the war to fend for themselves.  Sigh........

Two big happenings in the house hold of the Great One. 

1.  Our fearless leader and hero took 1st place in his age group at the Dogwood Festival 10k winning a sprint to the finish line.  In gracious fashion, the champion turned and shook the hand of the second place runner who actually lead our leader for a majority of the contest.  In other news, MattHarmer-triathlete.blogspot.com, lost in unconvincing fashion to our hero.

2.  The Special One - my son - received a rather close haircut that makes his otherwise large head appear even larger.

"Oil Man's War......."

Just got Kathleen Edward's new record and it is quite tasty..... some profanity, so you have to wade through that, but I came across a track that confuses me - "Oil Man's War." The track is about heading "North, because I won't fight no oil man's war......" Now, as the seat of all knowledge, I OBVIOUSLY know the answer to this question, but I am wondering if any of you might be able to help me with something...... as I have been reading, it seems that %70 of our oil comes from Venezuala and only %15 comes from Iraq. So, how does that make this an "Oil Man's War?" and further, why haven't we invaded Venezuala? This doesn't make sense to our fearless leader and he is hoping that some with a more grassroots understanding of the situation will weigh in and set his sizable intellect to rest.
